St. Paul’s is a church founded on Jesus Christ and His Word. We are rooted in the Bible as God’s Word, because it points us to the saving life, death, and resurrection of Jesus.
We believe the words of the Apostles Creed as a true and good summary of the faith of the Christian Church:
“I believe in God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth.”
“I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended into hell. The third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. From thence He will come to judge the living and the dead.”
“I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Christian church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.”
We also believe and adhere to the teachings of the Lutheran Church as they are found in the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod as faithful and consistent expressions of God’s Word as it has been passed down from the Church’s beginning.
